Men's basketball player Josh Becker (Hamburg/Frontier) was named Buffalo State's Athlete of the Week for the second time this season.

Becker led the Bengals to a 1-1 record at the Las Vegas D-3 Desert Shootout, as he averaged 22 points-per-game. On Saturday, he posted a career-high 27 points in a 64-63 win over Wilmington (OH), including a last-second field goal to win the game. The junior tallied 17 points in Sunday's 75-66 loss to Scranton, despite fouling out with seven minutes remaining.

Becker and the Bengals will return to action this weekend at the Penn State Behrend Invitational.
