Men's Basketball Players Perry Davis and Anthony Piccolo
Men's basketball players Perry Davis (Buffalo/Seneca) and Anthony Piccolo (Depew/Depew) were named Buffalo State Co-Athletes of the Week. Both helped lead the Bengals to three SUNYAC victories, capped off by an 88-63 win over Oswego.
Davis was dominant at both ends of the floor, averaging 16.3 points, 11.7 rebounds and 4.7 assists-per-game. He also tallied a career-high 25 points against SUNYIT, and recorded six blocks and eight steals in the three-game set.
Piccolo, the team's only senior, surpassed his previous career-high in scoring in all three of the Bengals wins, posting 14 points against Cortland, 25 against SUNYIT and 16 versus Oswego. He averaged 18.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists-per-game.
