Buffalo State has opened the season 3-1 overall and 2-0 in SUNYAC play, and will return to action on December 27, when it meets Wilmington (DE) in Las Vegas, NV for the Adidas DIII Desert Shootout at UNLV. The consolation and championship games will be played the following day. Coe (IA) and Scranton (PA) are the other teams participating in the tournament.

Josh Becker currently leads four players averaging double-digit points with 18.0 per-game. Jeremy and Justin Konst are posting 17.3 and 13.3 points-per-game respectively and Perry Davis is scoring 11.8 per-game, while grabbing 9.3 rebounds.
