Buffalo State opened its season tonight with a home exhibition contest against Niagara College of Welland, Ontario, winning 61-46.

Jeremy Konst (Williamsville/Williamsville East) led the Bengals with 11 points and four assists. Michael Miranto (N. Tonawanda/N. Tonawanda) added 10 points and three steals, and Jon Allport-Cohoon (Lockport/Lockport) led the team with six rebounds.

Buffalo State will open its regular season next Friday at the Montclair State Invitational.
