Men's Hockey Blanked by Fredonia, 5-0

Buffalo State's losing streak was extended to six games tonight as it fell 5-0 in a SUNYAC game at Fredonia.

The Blue Devils came out flying in the first period, outshooting the Bengals 17-6 and skated to a 2-0 advantage by the first intermission. Buffalo State tightened up its play over the final 40 minutes, but was unable to muster a sustained offensive attack and it surrendered three more goals. Adam Horvath made 41 saves between the pipes for the Bengals as they were outshot 46-24 for the game.

Buffalo State fell to 1-8 overall and 0-5 in conference play. The Bengals with host Manhattanville this weekend for a pair of games with the first one facing off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
