Men's Hockey Blanks Brockport, 3-0
BROCKPORT, NY—Buffalo State (11-10-2/5-6-1) downed host Brockport (6-10-7/2-5-5), 3-0, in a conference game tonight at the Tuttle North Athletics Complex.
Travis Whitehead (Cambridge, ON/Galt Collegiate Inst.) and D’Arcy Thomas (Gatineau, PQ/Philemon Wright) each had a goal and an assist for the Bengals. Michael DeMarco (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) scored the game winner in the first period while Johnny Duco (Toronto,ON/Cardinal Newman), Cody Cole (St. Catharines, ON/Denis Morris), Richard Curtis (Ottsville, PA/Pennridge) and Jason Hill (Niagara Falls, NY/Niagara Falls) all picked up assists.
Sean Sheehan (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Lenape) recorded his second shutout of the season, making 35 saves.
The Bengals travel Geneseo tomorrow for a 7 p.m. game.
