BUFFALO, NY—Buffalo State (7-8-2) scored a pair of third period goals and Sean Sheehan (Mt. Laurel, NJ)/Lenape) made 21 saves as the Bengals defeated visiting Johnson & Wales (7-7-1), 2-0, in a non-conference game tonight at the Ice Arena.

Freshman Mike Luzarraga (Sugarland, TX/Clements) opened the scoring with his first career goal 2:33 into the final period, and Joe Curry (Indian River, ON/Norwood) added an insurance goal nine minutes later. Jason Hill (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls) registered two assists. Buffalo State outshot the Wildcats, 39-21.

Buffalo State will host Morrisville next Saturday at 7 p.m.
