Men's Hockey Edges Framingham, 2-1

Goaltender Sean Sheehan (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Abitibi Eskimos) made 33 saves in his second game as a Bengal to help Buffalo State skate past Framingham 2-1 tonight.

Justin Tricoli (Cheektowaga/Erie CC) got the Bengals on the scoreboard first with his first career goal at 16:07 of the second period. Matt Samson (W. Vancouver, BC/Delta Ice Hawks) would add the eventual game-winner early in the final frame. Framingham pulled within a goal with 5:48 remaining, but Sheehan and the Bengals closed the door from there, despite being outshot 34-28 for the game.

Buffalo State improved to 3-12 on the season. The Bengals will return to the road on January 23 and 24 when they will visit Neumann.
