Men's Hockey Falls to Lebanon Valley, 4-1
BUFFALO, NY--Lebanon Valley (4-7) scored three third period goals to defeat host Buffalo State (7-8), 4-1, this afternoon at the Ice Arena.
Lebanon Valley opened the scoring early in the second period, but the Bengals answered less than four minutes later with a goal by Jason Hill (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls) with assists from Sean Burke (Barrie, ON/St. Peter's) and Greg Prybylski (Cheektowaga/Cheektowaga). The Flying Dutchmen pulled away in the third period, however, scoring three times, including twice on the power play.
Buffalo State outshot Lebanon Valley 39-24. Sean Sheehan (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Lenape) made 20 saves in the loss.
The Bengals will return to action after a break for the holidays on January 13 at Johnson and Wales.
