BUFFALO, NY--Greg Prybylski (Cheektowaga/Cheektowaga) scored twice, but Buffalo State (7-11-1/4-5) fell 6-4 to the visiting seventh-ranked team in the nation, Oswego (15-4-1/7-2) tonight in a SUNYAC contest at the Ice Arena.

Prybylski opened the scoring for Buffalo State 7:29 into the game. Oswego evened the score just 45 seconds later, but Buffalo State reclaimed the lead just over two minutes after that. The Lakers responded with a pair of goals later in the period to take a 3-2 lead into the first intermission.

The Lakers extended their lead to 4-2 early in the second frame, but Buffalo State roared back with a pair of power play goals just 44 seconds apart before the second period ended.

Oswego wasted little time jumping back in front in the third, however, with two goals in the first six minutes. Buffalo State could not find the back of the net, despite several quality chances in the closing minutes.

Sean O'Connell (Buffalo/St. Francis) had a goal and two assists. Mike DeMarco (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls) also scored for Buffalo State.

Oswego held a narrow 33-32 advantage in shots on goal and was 2 for 7 with the man advantage, compared to Buffalo State's 2 for 5.

Buffalo State will host Cortland tomorrow at 7 p.m. The Bengals' alumni will play at 1 p.m.
