Men's Hockey Falls in Overtime at Fredonia

FREDONIA, NY - Buffalo State (4-5/2-3) lost to Fredonia, 4-3, in overtime, today at Steele Hall.

Michael DeMarco (Niagara Falls, NY/Ft. Erie Meteors) opened the scoring for the Bengals, assisted by Sean Burke (Barrie, ON/Couchiching Terriers) and Jeff Mok (Richmond Hill, ON/North York Rangers). Freshman Richard Curtis (Ottsville, PA/Philadelphia Little Flyers), scored just one minute later, giving the Bengals a 2-0 lead over the Blue Devils, with assists by Nate Yuronich (Lindstrom, MN/St. Paul Lakers) and Cody Cole (St. Catherines, ON/St. Catherines Falcons). DeMarco added his second goal late in the second period to give Buffalo State a 3-1 lead, assisted by Mok and Greg Prybylski (Cheektowaga, NY/Capital Centre Pride). Fredonia rallied with a goal in the closing minute of the second frame and another in the opening minute of the third, before scoring the winner in overtime.

The Bengals will travel to Neumann on Friday, November 25th for their next game.
