Men's Hockey Falls to Plattsburgh, 4-1

BUFFALO, NY-Plattsburgh (14-9-1/8-6) scored two goals in the first period and added two more in the third in a 4-1 victory over host Buffalo State (10-12-1/7-6) tonight at the Ice Arena.

Buffalo State freshman Richard Curtis (Ottsville, PA/Pennridge) scored the Bengals lone goal midway through the third period, making the score 2-1. David Roy (Berlin, NH/Union Endicott) and Mike DeMarco (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls) assisted on the goal. Plattsburgh added a pair of late goals to seal the victory, despite being outshot 41-29 for the game.

Buffalo State will close out the regular season tomorrow night at home against Potsdam at 7 p.m. Both teams have already clinched SUNYAC playoff berths. The winner will be the No. 5 seed, and the loser will be sixth.
