Men's hockey player Mike DeMarco (Niagara Falls) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.

DeMarco led the Bengals with two goals and five assists for a seven-point weekend in a two-game sweep of Neumann. The freshman forward had a goal and two assists in a 6-3 win on Friday, and tallied a goal in three assists in Saturday's 5-4 victory.

DeMarco leads the Bengals in scoring with nine goals and 15 assists for 24 points in 17 games.
