Men's Hockey Skates Past Brockport, 6-5

Buffalo State earned its first SUNYAC victory of the season this evening, edging host Brockport 6-5.

Buffalo State played catch-up for most of the game until freshman Josh Magnuson finally put the Bengals ahead for good with just 4:31 remaining in regulation. Greg Prybylski added a pair of goals for the Bengals. Matt Samson, Mike DeMarco and Mike Zalewski also scored single tallies, and defenseman Sean O'Connell registered three assists. Adam Horvath made 45 saves between the pipes to earn the win.

Buffalo State improved to 2-11 overall and 1-6 in SUNYAC. The Bengals will not return to action until they travel to Plymouth State on January 9.
