Men's Hockey Ties No. 6 Fredonia, 4-4

Buffalo State skated to a 4-4 tie tonight with the sixth-ranked team in the nation at Fredonia.

Buffalo State opened up a 2-0 lead in the second period and led 3-1 in the third. The SUNYAC's top team battled back and claimed a 4-3 lead, but the Bengals notched the equalizer just 23 seconds later with 4:24 to play.

Sean Burke (Barrie, ON/St. Peter's) and Mike DeMarco (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls) each had a goal and an assist for Buffalo State, and Greg Prybylski (Cheektowaga/Cheektowaga) and Morgan McElman (Bayside, NB/Berkshire Prep) also scored. Sean Sheehan (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Lenape) made 46 saves.

Buffalo State is now 5-12-2 overall and 1-5-2 in SUNYAC. The Bengals will travel to Brockport next Friday.
