Men's Hockey Wins at Neumann, 6-3

Buffalo State defeated Neumann tonight, 6-3, in a contest that saw the two teams combine for 102 minutes in penalties.

The home team scored the first two goals of the game, but Buffalo State roared back with four straight goals in the second period to take a 4-2 lead heading into the final stanza. Neumann closed the gap to 4-3 at 13:50 of the third, but the Bengals responed with a pair of goals in the next two minutes to ice the victory. Mark Yoder (Ft. Wayne, IN) led the attack with two goals and two assists. Mike DeMarco (Niagara Falls) added a goal and two assists, and Greg Prybylski (Cheektowaga) and Sean Castagna (San Jose, CA) each had a goal and an assist. Mike Zalewski (Grand Rapids, MI) added the other Bengal goal, and Sean O'Connell (Buffalo) chipped in three assists.

Buffalo State improve to 4-12 and will face the Knights again tomorrow at 7 p.m.
