Men's Soccer Explodes Past Gallaudet, 6-3

Buffalo State (3-2) closed out the Bethany Invitational with a convincing 6-3 victory over Gallaudet in today's consolation game.

After a deadlocked first halt at 2-2, Buffalo State poured on the pressure in the final 45 minutes and claimed the three-goal win. Joshua Mitchell (Schenectady/Albany) led the Bengals' attack with two goals, including the game-winner. Casey Cushing (Fabius/Fabius-Pompey), Prisco Houndanon (Togo, W. Africa), Rich Gordon (Hamburg/Hamburg) and Amadu Barrie (New York/MLK) all scored single goals for Buffalo State.

The Bengals will open SUNYAC play this Friday with a home contest against SUNYIT at 4 p.m.
