Men's soccer player Richard Namulala (Kenmore/Kenmore West) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.

The junior forward helped lead the Bengals to a 3-0 week including a championship game victory at the Bethany (WV) Invitational. Namulala started the week with the game-tying goal in a 2-1 victory at Nazareth on Wednesday. On Friday, he tallied all three Buffalo State goals in a 3-1 victory over Lake Erie. On Saturday, he helped the Bengals past Bethany, 1-0.

Namulala leads the Bengals with five goals, as Buffalo State, at 5-0-1, is off to its best start in over 20 years.
