Men's Soccer Plays to Scoreless Draw Against Washington and Lee

BALTIMORE--Buffalo State (2-1-1) and Washington & Lee (1-1-1) played 110 minutes of soccer today at the Johns Hopkins Classic, but nothing was decided as the teams played to a 0-0 draw.

Washington & Lee outshot the Bengals 20-9 for the game, but Dan Corti (Amawalk/Somers) made nine saves for his first collegiate shutout.

Buffalo State finished as the runner-up in the tourney. Joatan Humphries (Lawrence/Lawrence) was named the tourament's Defensive MVP, and Christian Elizondo (Marlboro/Marlboro) and Stephen Galante (Tonawanda/Canisius) joined him on the all-tournament team.

Buffalo State will return to the pitch on Saturday when it hosts Brockport in the SUNYAC opener at 1 p.m.
