Buffalo State continued on its winning path by defeating New Paltz (1-6, 1-1) this afternoon, 2-1. The win marks the seventh-consecutive victory for the Bengals this season, their best start in over 25 years.

Senior Matt Romano (Eden/Eden) scored his first goal of the season to help elevate the Bengals to victory. Teammate Randy Haight (Roseville/Woodcreek) also added a goal, his first of the season as well.

The Bengals advance to 7-0-1 overall, and 2-0 in SUNYAC play. The Bengals are back in action Wednesday, Sept. 22 when they travel to take on Pitt.-Bradford.
