Men's Soccer Slips Past Pitt-Bradford, 2-1

Buffalo State (6-2) scored a pair of second-half goals to defeat visiting Pitt-Bradford (1-7), 2-1, today at Coyer Field.

The Panthers took the early lead with a goal in the 19th minute, and held the lead at the half despite being outshot 11-4. Amadu Barrie (New York/MLK) evened the score for Buffalo State in the 63rd minute with an assist from Clint Holcomb (Clifton Springs/Victor). Prisco Houndanon (Togo, W. Africa) notched the game winner in the 81st minute, chipping a punt from goalkeeper Shawn McDonell (W. Seneca/W. Seneca West) past the Bradford goalie.

Buffalo State outshot the Panthers 24-11 for the game. McDonell made seven saves in the victory.

Buffalo State will next play at RIT next Tuesday.
