Buffalo State freshman goaltender Crissy Michalek (West Seneca/West Senceca East) was named ECAC West Goaltender of the Week for her performance against Cortland.

The former member of the Buffalo Saints Hockey Club had 34 saves and a win in her college debut. Michalek let in just one goal in Buffalo State's 3-1 win over the Red Dragons last Sunday. The Bengals are back in action Saturday when they host Plattsburgh at 4:00 pm.
