Mruk Earns ECAC Softball Honors
Buffalo State freshman Lauren Mruk (Lancaster/Lancaster) was named to the ECAC Division III Upstate Softball All-Star Team.
The rookie third baseman, who was also named to the All-SUNYAC team and was the conference's First Year Player of the Year, was the lone Bengal on the All-ECAC Team. Mruk led Buffalo State with a .319 batting average and five homeruns, and was second on the team with 24 RBI.
Mruk will lead a group that will return six starters to the eight field positions next season.
