The Hubble Space Telescope Traveling Exhibit at the Whitworth Ferguson Planetarium stars in a promotional NASA video taken at Buffalo State.

“NASA recorded portions of the Hubble exhibit last April,” said Kevin Williams, associate professor of earth sciences and science education and director of the Whitworth Ferguson Planetarium at Buffalo State. “They are using the new videos to promote the exhibit to other locations.” NASA had updated the exhibit before it came to Buffalo State in fall 2015, and the clips recorded at the college showcase the updated version of the Hubble Space Telescope: New Views of the Universe.

The clips include some visitors to the exhibit, including current and former Buffalo State students, and a few of the planetarium’s regular patrons.

The Buckham Hall gym serves as a proud but humble background for the Hubble exhibit. The exhibit will continue to offer visitors a chance to experience the awe of the Hubble mission with a scale model of the Hubble space telescope and a space/time section through September.
