New Paltz (3-1-1/1-1) scored in the 62nd minute to defeat visiting Buffalo State (4-2-1/0-2), 1-0, today in a SUNYAC match-up.
Buffalo State failed to find the back of the net for the first time this season, despite firing 14 shots, including nine on goal. Katie Melsert (Burnt Hills/Burnt Hills-Ballston Spa) made five saves for the Bengals.
