“Change Through Stories,” the sixth annual Anne Frank Project conference held September 8–10 on campus, was a rousing success. Thousands of visitors attended 45 sessions over the three days that used storytelling to convey how each of us has the power to change the world.

Highlights included two sold-out solo performances—Andre De Shields portraying the great abolitionist in Frederick Douglass: Mine Eyes Have Seen the Glory and Ibrahim Mari in In Between, portraying the complexities and contradictions inherent in Palestinian-Israeli identity.

The multidisciplinary conference garnered coverage in the Buffalo News and on WBFO-FM 88.7.
