Two graduates of the Art Conservation Department were featured in a November Scientific American article on how new technology is saving old dioramas in museums. It focuses on a massive project to assess and restore historic dioramas at the American Museum of National History (AMNH) where Lisa Elkin, '93, directs conservation and Elizabeth Nunan, '09, worked on the conservation aspects of the project. Art Conservation faculty Corina Rogge, Andrew W. Mellon Assistant Professor of Conservation Science, and graduate student Rebecca Pollak also participated in this historic project.
