Popular Buffalo radio program, "The Morning Show " on WBEN-AM 930, revealed the results of its annual Liveline Derby—and Bruce Bryski, associate professor of communication, placed second.

The Liveline Derby tallied up the number of times commentators provided opinions and insights on interviews on Buffalo’s Early News, hosted by John Zach and Susan Rose. Bryski “provided able analysis on 14 different occasions,” according to the Top Ten list on WBEN’s website.

Graduate students taking part in the New York State Assembly’s internship program will be advised by visiting professor Janet Penska according to the Times Union. Penska has served as commissioner of administration, finance, policy, and urban affairs in the City of Buffalo and worked with faculty members to develop Buffalo State’s master’s program in public administration.
