Works from one current SUNY Buffalo State student and one alumna were on display as part of North Tonawanda's first Summer Art Walk held Saturday.

The work of fine arts major Laura Cott (pictured) remains on display at Project 380 (308 Oliver Street) in North Tonawanda until Saturday, August 17. Cott's exhibit, Mixed Message, includes work inspired by a semester spent in Tuscany, Italy.  “The show is really a metaphor for a giant collage—which is kind of what I’ve been doing lately,” Cott told the Tonawanda News.

Marilyn L. Wilson, ’71, is one of three cousins who displayed their work at the Partners in Art Gallery, (74 Webster Street) according to the Buffalo News. The show, which also features Wilson's cousins Angelo F. LaDuca and Thomas Insana, continues through August 23. A reception will be held on Saturday, August 17, from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.
