Buffalo State alumnus Afrim Gjonbalaj, '06, who graduated with a bachelor’s degree in theater, is back in Buffalo starring in Disgraced, according to a recent Buffalo News article by Colin Dabkowski.
Gjonbalaj, whose theater credits while attending Buffalo State include a lead role in Hair, is playing Amir in the Pulitzer Prize-winning play on stage at the Road Less Traveled Theatre through March 31. Other credits, according to his website, include extensive work in theater and television.
He expressed his gratitude to EOP counselors and the faculty members in the Theater Department on Twitter last week.
I'm so grateful for @BSC_ACE_EOP, @buffalostate and it's theatre faculty. Without them all and my EOP counselors I don't know where I'd be in life.
