In the News: William Wieczorek

William Wieczorek, director of the Center for Health and Social Research and professor of geography and planning, was recently interviewed by Business First. Wieczorek was recently appointed to the chairmanship of the epidemiology, prevention and behavior research review subcommittee of the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism’s initial review group. He was one of two keynote speakers at the first event held by the newly formed UB-Buffalo State Health Geography Alliance.
