ELMIRA, NY--Ninth-ranked Elmira scored five goals in the third period to defeat visiting Buffalo State (4-9-1/0-5), 8-1, tonight in an ECAC West game.
Jessica Thieme (Roselle, IL/Lake Park) scored the lone goal for Buffalo State with an assist from Melissa Jeckovich (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls). Elmira outshot the Bengals 51-10.
