Did you know that Buffalo State has a 615-acre campground that can be used by the campus community?

Since the early 1950s, the Whispering Pines Camp has been visited by thousands of students for weekend- and one-day-excursions.

United Students Government (USG), which funds and manages the camp, will host an Open Camp Day for students and staff on Wednesday, November 11, at 9:30 a.m. Enjoy a day of outdoor and indoor activities on the forested grounds and the two fully equipped lodges. Guided hiking, crafts, and activities will be provided.

Whispering Pines Camp is located at 1933 Raub Road, Franklinville, NY (about 70 miles south of Buffalo State). A $5 refundable ticket may be purchased at the USG Office, Campbell Student Union 402, 878-6701. Transportation will be provided to the first 40 people who sign up. Lunch will be provided.
