Buffalo State women's hockey player Jamie Overbeck (Tonawanda/Kenmore East) was named ECAC West Rookie of the Week after scoring her first career goals as a Bengal. The freshman forward scored two unassisted goals, including one short-handed, to give the Bengals a two-goal lead in Sunday's conference game against Neumann. The former member of the Buffalo Bisons has played in all 13 of Buffalo State's contests this season.

Overbeck and the Bengals will be back on the ice this weekend for a pair of non-conference games against Trinity on Saturday and Sunday.
