Kevin Williams, assistant professor of earth sciences and science education at Buffalo State, is involved with a project on a NASA spacecraft now orbiting the moon.

Williams, a planetary geologist, is making use of a radar instrument that can collect information about the texture and composition of the lunar surface.

His work is featured on the State University of New York Research Foundation’s Web site.
