Celebrate with Buffalo State this summer. Friends, new and old, await you at Reunion 2011! This year’s event honors the classes of 1951 and 1961 and continues the 50-Plus Club tradition.

The annual reunion kicks off on Friday, June 24, with a Welcome Home Reception beginning at 4:00¬ p.m. at the Burchfield Penney Art Center. Alumni and guests are invited to check-in and register for weekend events and pick up helpful information and reunion gifts. Campus tours will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

On Saturday, June 25, the Class of 1951 Brunch will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the E. H. Butler Library Rooftop Garden and Butler Room.

From 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., registered guests will enjoy a “Buffalo by Bus” tour departing from Cleveland Circle. The guided tour provides views of some of Buffalo’s historically significant buildings and new developments.

Later in the evening, the Class of 1961 Cocktail Reception and Dinner will be held at the Greatbatch Pavilion at the Martin House Complex (143 Jewett Parkway, Buffalo). The reception begins at 5:00 p.m., with dinner to follow at 6:00 p.m. All guests receive a complimentary tour of the complex with their reservation.

On Sunday, June 26, the 50-Plus Club Reception will take place at the Transit Valley Country Club (8920 Transit Road, East Amherst). Assembly, roll call of classes, and induction of the Class of 1961 begins at 2:00 p.m. and lunch will be served at 3:00 p.m.
