RIT Tops Men's Soccer in Double-Overtime, 2-1

ROCHESTER, NY--RIT worked double-overtime to defeat visiting Buffalo State (3-4-1), 2-1, in a non-conference game today.

Christian Elizondo (Marlboro/Marlboro) opened the scoring for the Bengals in the fourth minute with an assist from Justin Lofaro (Albany/Guilderland). RIT finally netted the equalizer in the 86th minute, and then scored the game-winner in the second overtime in the 104th minute.

The Tigers held a narrow 20-19 advantage in shots. Dan Corti (Amawalk/Somers) made nine saves for the Bengals.

Buffalo State will next travel to SUNYIT on Friday for a SUNYAC contest at 4 p.m.
