RUNWAY 2.0, April 25-Watch the Live Video Stream

New York, Paris, Milan...Buffalo. On Saturday, April 25, Western New York joins the list of international fashion meccas with help from the Buffalo State fashion and textile technology program.

RUNWAY 2.0, a day of fashion with two events featuring the collections of Buffalo State fashion and textile technology students and professional Western New York designers, will be held in the Burchfield Penney Art Center’s East Gallery. The event will be broadcast live via video stream. Note: The stream becomes operational when the shows begin (at 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.).

The student RUNWAY 2.0 show starts at 4:00 p.m. and includes collections by fashion students, alumni, and David Brinson (faculty mentor for the senior student collections). Tickets for the 4:00 p.m. show are available at the Student Union and Rockwell Hall box offices for $5 (pre-sale) and $7 (at the door).

The evening RUNWAY 2.0 show boasts an array of professional WNY designers including New Era, Mara Hoffman, and Adam Lippes. VIP tickets ($100) include a 7:30 p.m. pre-show private reception, front row seat to the show, and a goodie bag packed with surprises. General admission tickets for the evening event, 9:00 to 10:00 p.m., are $40. Call the Burchfield Penney Art Center at 878-3254 for tickets.

All profits go to the FTT Student Scholarship Fund.
