A group of 35 Buffalo State dancers and 20 theater technicians will present the multi-genre dance performance Seeds: Experiments in Exponential Expressions on April 23-26 in the Warren Enters Theatre in Upton Hall.

The annual faculty-choreographed performance showcases the varied genres the dance program offers — modern, jazz, contemporary dance, and fusion — in a combined show based upon a theme. This year’s theme focuses on growth or the evolution of an idea, said Carlos Jones, assistant professor of theater and dance, who helped choreograph Seeds.

The other choreographers are associate professor Joy Guarino, associate professor Janet Reed, and adjunct professors Leanne Rinelli and Michael Lambert.

Performances will be held April 23-25 at 8:00 p.m. and April 26 at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 general admission, $10 for faculty, staff and seniors, and $5 tickets for students purchased day in advance. Tickets purchased at the door are $10 for students.

Tickets can be purchased at the Rockwell Hall and Campbell Student Union box offices or by calling (716) 878-3005.
