Sheehan Named Men's Hockey SUNYAC Rookie of the Week
Buffalo State goaltender Sean Sheehan (Mt. Laurel, NJ/Abitibi Eskimos) was named the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Men's Hockey Rookie of the Week after helping the Bengals to a split in New England this weekend.
Sheehan made 27 saves in his Buffalo State debut on Friday night, a 4-3 loss to Plymouth State. He bounced back from the tough loss with a 33-save performance in a 2-1 Buffalo State victory at Framingham State. Sheehan's play helped the Bengals to their third win of the season and second in their last three games.
