PLATTSBURGH, NY—After scoring 23 runs in two wins over Potsdam yesterday, Buffalo State (17-11/9-5) was unable to plate a single run in a pair 3-0 losses at Plattsburgh (19-11/9-3) today in SUNYAC play.

Aimee Fisher (Hamburg/ Frontier) gave up a three-run homerun in the first inning of the first game and then settled in, allowing just six hits for the game, but she did not get any offensive support. The Bengals were limited to just two hits, both bunt singles by Courtney Keleher (Tonawanda/ Kenmore West).

The Bengals were three-hit in the second game, as Jenna Frieling (E. Amherst/ Williamsville North) took the hard-luck loss. The sophomore scattered eight hits and three runs, while striking out eight. Christina Tschari (Clarence/ Clarence) had a double, and Arielle Austin (Smithtown/ Smithtown West) and Jessica Mooney (Tonawanda/ Kenmore West) each had singles to account for the Bengals’ only hits.

Buffalo State will travel to Geneseo on Tuesday for another conference doubleheader.
