Softball player Aimee Fisher (Hamburg/Frontier) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week. Fisher, a sophomore biology major, threw a complete game two-hitter in a 7-0 win over visiting SUNYIT on Friday. Of the 21 outs in the game, Fisher retired 19 by way of strikeout. She is currently 7-0 with a 0.87 ERA and has 65 strikeouts in 40 1/3 innings.
