Softball player Jordan Banach (Cheektowaga/ Maryvale) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week. The senior shortstop had seven hits, including a double and four homeruns in the Bengals' 4-4 week. Banach, a fine arts major, also had eight RBIs and seven runs scored. She ranks second in school history with 25 career homeruns, behind Deanna Hunt's 32.
