Softball pitcher Liz Beiter (N. Tonawanda) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week.

Beiter posted a 4-0 record with a 0.72 ERA, while limiting the opposition to a .198 batting average in Ft. Myers, FL. In 25 innings of work, she registered nine strikeouts, while walking just one batter and allowing only five total runs. Beiter earned victories against Lasell, Wisconsin-Oshkosh, New England and Lawrence.
