Softball player Nicole Maher (Waterloo/ Waterloo) was named the Buffalo State Athlete of the Week. The junior left fielder helped the Bengals to a 3-3 start at the National Training Center Spring Games in Clermont, Fla., hitting .467 with eight RBIs. A criminal justice major, Maher had three doubles and two triples.
