Stoklosa Highlights Day No. 2 of SUNYAC Swimming and Diving Championships

BUFFALO, NY--Kelly Stoklosa (W. Seneca/W. Seneca West) captured the SUNYAC Championship in the 100 breast with a school record time of 1:09.06 as Buffalo State completed the second day of the conference championships tonight at Flickinger Aquatic Center. The men's and women's teams are both sixth of nine teams.

Other highlights on the women's side, included the 200 medley relay team of Stoklosa, Laura Pino (Sanborn/Niagara Wheatfield), Megan Farrell (Akron/Akron) and Susan Stiner (Niagara Falls/Niagara Falls) that placed seventh, but set a new school record with a time of 1:58.42.

Kevin Buisman (Penfield/Penfield) was the top individual performer on the men's side, as he placed sixth in the 400 individual medley with a time of 4:24.79. Rich Gaczewski (N. Tonawanda/N. Tonawanda) finished seventh in the 100 fly (54.73), and Dave Papke (Woodlawn/St. Francis) was eighth in the 100 breast (1:05.38).

The SUNYAC Championships will come to a close tomorrow. The prelims will start at 10 a.m. and the finals will begin at 6 p.m.
