SUNY Buffalo State has enjoyed extensive coverage in the Buffalo News over the past two weeks.

On Saturday, January 18, Lori Till, associate professor of hospitality and tourism, was quoted prominently as a food safety expert in reporter Scott Scanlon’s feature on foodborne illnesses in the News’ Refresh section. 

On Tuesday, January 21, the News posted a story on Buffalo State’s new Institute for Community Health Promotion.

On Sunday, January 26, the college was highlighted twice in Prospectus, the News’ annual preview of the business climate in Western New York for the year ahead. Interim President Howard Cohen talked with reporter Harold McNeil to discuss Buffalo State’s new Technology Building and enrollment goals, while Susan McCartney, special adviser to the provost for economic development, was interviewed by reporter Melinda Miller to discuss the economic impact of colleges in Western New York.
