The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) officially announced the first round pairings for this week’s double-elimination softball conference championships to be held at top-seeded Plattsburgh.

Buffalo State finished league play at 16-6 and is currently 25-13 overall and will enter tournament play as the No. 3 seed. The Bengals will open tourney play on Thursday at 1 p.m. against fourth-seeded Brockport. Buffalo State swept the Golden Eagles in Brockport during the regular season, winning 6-3 and 10-3.

Thursday, May 1
Game 1: #1 Plattsburgh (29-11/19-3) vs. #6 Oswego (17-16/12-10) – 9 a.m.
Game 2: #2 Cortland (30-10/19-3) vs. #5 New Paltz (24-16/13-9) – 11 a.m.
Game 3: #3 Buffalo State (25-13/16-6) vs. #4 Brockport (22-12/15-7) – 1 p.m.
Game 4: Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2 – 3 p.m.

Friday, May 2
Game 5: Winner Game 1 vs. Loser Game 3 – 9 a.m.
Game 6: Winner Game 2 vs. Winner Game 3 – 11 a.m.
