Swimmers Michael Klein and Marie Ryer
Diver Michael Klein (Hamburg/Hamburg) and swimmer Marie Ryer (Buffalo Hutch Tech) were named Buffalo State Co-Athletes of the Week.
Klein placed first in the three-meter diving event at Penn State Behrend on Saturday, and set their new pool record with 236.40 points. Klein, only a freshman, also finished in third place in the one-meter diving event.
Ryer recorded three first place finishes Saturday. She anchored the 400-yard medley relay, and the 400-yard freestyle relay to victories, as well as setting her lifetime best mark in winning the 50-free event with a time of 26.87.
