Swimming and Diving Wrap Up Season at SUNYAC Championships
Buffalo State concluded its season today at the SUNYAC Championships with the men finishing sixth of nine, and the women placing ninth of nine.
On the men's side, Tom Schilke (Tonawanda/Sweet Home) placed fifth in the 3-meter dive with a score of 368.05. Rich Gaczewski (N. Tonawanda/N. Tonawanda) placed eighth in the 1650 free (17:53.45), and Matt Palminteri (Dingmans Ferry, DE/Delaware Valley) finished seventh in the 200 breast (2:23.90).
For the women, Mindy Wood (Middlesex/Marcus Whitman) set a new Buffalo State record with a time of 18:49.16 in the 1650 free, placing fifth.
